Welcome to the UC Berkeley Libraries!

I'm Stacy, your friendly librarian here at Cal. I specialize in literature. I'm here to help you make the most out of your time at the UC Berkeley library.
How This Works
  • This is an interactive, self-guided tutorial.
  • This might take about 20 minutes. (But no one is keeping track!)
  • Respond to each question. It's ok to look for answers on the library website. This isn't a test.
  • After you submit your response, you'll get an explanation.
  • When you're done with the tutorial, you're welcome to go through it again if there is anything you want to review.
  • I recommend completing this tutorial on a computer if possible.
What You'll Learn
After you finish this tutorial:

  • Your computer will be set up to access online library resources.
  • You'll be able to find ebooks and full-text articles.
  • You'll be better aware of remote services offered by the Library.
  • You'll learn about software that can help you manage your sources.
  • You'll know how to get help from a librarian whenever you need it.
